Established in 2016, ICBI is a non-profit organization supporting life science technology development and commercialization in Indiana. ICBI is uniquely designed to create a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem for translation of innovations into life saving products by providing fully equipped biology and chemistry laboratories, access to small and large animal facility, clinical expertize, collaborative space, offices, conferencing facilities and a variety of research and development services. ICBI has assembled a special Advisory Council of life sciences leaders and entrepreneurs to provide guidance, mentorship and networks to entrepreneurial faculty, post docs, students and the start up companies. ICBI facilitates access to funding for translational research and technology development from academic labs.
Our mission is to create an ecosystem for entrepreneurship, and technology development and commercialization at the campus of Indiana University School of Medicine.
